Recently, the 3.35MW photovoltaic + 15MW/30.05MWh energy storage integrated energy project invested and constructed by Hanxing Energy at Anhui Magang Luohe Mining Co., Ltd. was successfully connected to the grid and put into operation. With a total investment of approximately 55 million yuan, this is the first "photovoltaic and energy storage integration" green energy project of Luohe Mining. From the official start of construction in July to the grid connection in December (the energy storage part was completed and connected to the grid by the end of September), the project's advancement efficiency was remarkable.

Project Overview:

The project ingeniously utilized the existing idle processing site within the mining area, laying out photovoltaic arrays and energy storage equipment without adding new land. During the planning stage, Hanxing Energy conducted in-depth research on the actual power consumption and production patterns of the factory area, and tailored this comprehensive energy solution featuring the coordinated operation of "photovoltaic + energy storage" specifically for Luohe Mining.

The total installed capacity of the photovoltaic system is 3.35MW, and it operates under the mode of "self-generated, self-consumed, and surplus power fed to the grid".During the day, photovoltaic power generation is given priority to supply production and use in the factory area, and surplus electricity can be stored in the energy storage system; At night or during peak electricity hours, the energy storage equipment discharges to continuously ensure stable power supply in the factory area. Based on the actual load analysis, the electricity demand of the factory area is much higher than the installed capacity of photovoltaic power. The electricity generated by photovoltaic power can be fully consumed locally, effectively improving the efficiency of green energy utilization.

The energy storage system has a capacity of 15MW/30.05MWh and consists of 6 sets of liquid cooled battery compartments and an integrated converter and booster unit.The system achieves a win-win situation in terms of economic and environmental benefits by "peak shaving and valley filling", charging during off-peak and off-peak hours when electricity prices are lower, and discharging during peak hours when electricity prices are higher for the use of the factory area. This approach reduces the electricity cost for enterprises through the price difference.

According to preliminary calculations, after the project is put into operation, the photovoltaic part can provide about 3.42 million kWh of green electricity per year, which is equivalent to saving 110 tons of standard coal and reducing 281 tons of carbon dioxide emissions. The annual income can exceed 1.3 million yuan; The design and operation cycle of the energy storage system is 25 years, with an average annual discharge of about 12.87 million kWh and an expected annual revenue of nearly 5.2 million yuan.
